Rocky’s illustrious career in aviation was surpassed only by his loving dedication as a husband and father. His bright creative spirit, brilliant mind, and unquenchable sense of fun drew people of all ages to him, and his joyful sense of humour will live on in the memories of all who knew him.
Rocky was an Air Force veteran of World War II, a helper to all in need, a lover of dogs, music, and children, and, above all, a true gentleman.
Rocky’s participation in the New Frontier Memorial Spaceflight respects his ultimate wish to experience spaceflight, thereby, conquering at last, the one horizon to which he still aspired.
