Greg Carley spent more than 20 years exploring how people interact with products and experience the world around them. His career in design began at Temerlin McClain where he created advertising campaigns as both a copywriter and a visual designer. He shifted to the digital space at Razorfish where he explored user trends and created digital experiences, and at AT&T where he led the UX development across all of their Consumer Digital Experiences.
As Executive Creative Director at Chaotic Moon, Greg developed disruptive digital products for iconic American companies like Disney, GM/Onstar, Pizza Hut and John Deere to help differentiate both their vision and product creation. After Chaotic Moon was acquired by Accenture Interactive, his focus shifted to Design and Innovation at Fjord as a Principal Director in the Design Strategy Group. His award winning work with Audi, Whole Foods Market and the FjordNext initiative all proved that new design paradigms will lead to new business models that unite strategy, product, and technology.
With a passion for design, technology and innovation, Greg Carley became Vice President of Product Innovation at Hypergiant Industries and a Managing Partner of Hypergiant’s Ventures Studio Group which accelerates promising start-ups through investment, advisory and human capital. Greg managed strategy, innovation and design for several Hypergiant Divisions including Sensory Sciences, Galactic Systems and Applied Urbanetics.
Greg passed away February 8, 2020 and is survived by his wife, Jill Carley, son, Hayden Carley, daughter Madison Carley, mother, Susan Carley Johnson and brother, Jeff Carley. The family would like to thank Ben Lamm and Hypergiant for making Greg’s dreams of spaceflight possible.
