"I love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will appreciate the
darkness for it shows me the stars" -- Og Mandino
...May the force be with you.

Dad, here's to your journey... may you brighten the cosmos and illuminate the skies, just as you've touched all of our lives. And as you sail across the sun, please know that I will always be looking up for your continued guidance, love and support to be the person you've taught me to be. So long partner... Dave

"My Father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give, He believed in me." Dad this quote says so much about you. You are my Father and my Dad, my friend, my teacher, my mentor and my biggest fan. I've learned so much and wish I listened and learned more. No matter what challenges I've faced in my life, you always supported me and always believed that I would succeed. Catching my first foul ball with you is just one of many memories that I will cherish forever. I smile when I catch myself doing something like you. I'm so proud to have that "Linkage." God speed Dad, Love Jim

My dad's legacy can be summed up as a father, grandfather, coach, fan, confidant, role model and most all, a friend. All was done with passion and love. When I think of my dad, I think of his smile. Whether it was after hitting my first home run, when he had his family around on Christmas Eve or when his grandson walked into the club and screamed "The Red Sox Stink!"... His love for his family was second to none. These qualities are the things I will try to live by and teach his grandchildren. Tom

To suggest that I had the greatest "big brother" that ever lived is a tall order but that is exactly, literally and figuratively, what my brother means to me. When our father passed, I realized I was not alone. When it came to love and leadership in my life, my brother was and will always remain here for me. He gave me courage and direction, even while attending to his own family. No single situation ever occurred when I was not able to count on him. Now as we transition to a new relationship, I see vividly the sentiment, "We make a living by what we get but, we make a life by what we give." My "Big Brother" Bobby continues to give and that is what makes his life with all of us evergreen! I love you big brother ... we will always be together until we meet again! Butch (Daryl)

Bob enjoyed telling stories. He never left out a detail. When it came to sharing his feelings, he assumed we all knew that he loved us more than life itself. He shared few words but tried to show his love and his support every day.

Bob was a big guy who enjoyed sunsets, mountains, his lawn, a winter fire, summer nights, flying first class, the Yankees, the Giants, and a cold Bud. Most of all he cherished his family. Bob is survived by his wife Beth, sons, Jim & Sue, Tom & Mary, Dave & Apryl, brother Daryl & Vilma, sister Diane, his grands Emme and Nichol and his faithful canine friend Buddy. He was so proud of the men you have become.

He enjoyed his ride,

"I'll give you everything I can
I'll build your dreams with these two hands.
Well hang some memories on the wall
And when there's silver in your hair
You won't have to ask if I still care
Cause as time turns the page my love won't age
By the moon and stars in the sky
Like the shadow that's by your side
I'll be there"
